The 2014 Convention was held in Ft. Lauderdale. It was a big election year and my AAU boss, Mike Friello, said that it was important that I attend. Although I didn’t want to miss another week of classes, when the boss makes a request, you would be wise to accept. While it was a big election year and I’m sure my vote was important, it seems the real reason I was required at convention was to recieve an award.
The David Rivenes Award is an award given by Mike Friello at the sports meeting and it was my great honor to receive it this year.
