Sisters Compete at 2014 J.O. Games in Des Moines, IA

The 2014 Junior Olympic Games (J.O.s) has a new look. While sparring is no longer offered at the J.O.s, there are tons of new events. Being offered for the first time this year  are events like weapons and musical weapons, self-defense, creative and musical forms, and 5 types of breaking. The competition was a refreshing change from the normal AAU tournaments.

Two sistered traveled to Des Moines to particiapate and medal at this this new J.O. Games competition.  Congratulations to both girls for an outstanding job.

Jourdyn competed in traditional forms, taking 2nd place and weapons, taking 1st place.

Ainsleigh took a 1st place in both traditional forms and weapons.
